Lee Abbey London

CaSA were asked to carry out a feasibility study and develop sketch scheme options for the redevelopment of an existing 190 bed students halls of residence in west London. The client, Lee Abbey London, is a Christian organisation providing accommodation for students studying in London who want to live within a Christian based community.

CaSA proposed a series of different sized spaces, which facilitated people making good connections with each other, themselves and with God. This was done through the arrangement of the bedrooms, new small kitchens, more open and transparent social spaces such as the café and dining space, as well as introducing a new chapel into a re-landscaped garden.
